The .918 Club , and Don Starr and Joe Smith of Glyph Design Studio, is inviting you to be a participant in a combined 11th Annual Lancaster Printers Fair and Chesapeake Book Arts Fair on September 21, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Havre de Grace, MD. As a vendor, the Fair is a fantastic opportunity to market and sell your products to customers who are specifically seeking unique hand printed merchandise, supplies and equipment. If you are unable to be a vendor, being a sponsor is an opportunity to show your support of the letterpress and printmakers movement.
The Lancaster Printers Fair showcases the art of printmaking in historical and contemporary forms. Vendor items include the book arts, letterpress printing presses, equipment, supplies & accessories, wood & metal type, ink, presses and paper, printmaking, handmade announcements, invitations, posters, limited edition books and more. The Chesapeake Book Arts Fair highlights the design and craft of all print and paper arts, from letterpress, printmaking and screen printing, to book arts and papermaking.
The combined Fair & Festival will be held in the charming, historic town of Havre de Grace, MD, where the Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake Bay. Known for its waterfront views, scenic trails, parks and museums, Havre de Grace draws visitors year round from Lancaster, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC, all within 45-90 minutes’ drive.
We will set up in Graw Alley, a newly designed artists’ park at the Harmer’s Town Arts Center in the heart of downtown Havre de Grace. We will be able to pull up our vehicles close to assigned spots, unload and then park in a nearby lot. Restrooms and food trucks will be onsite with many additional dining options nearby.
I hope that you will join us as a vendor on Saturday, September 21st and submit your application as soon as possible so that we can promote your participation throughout our advertising and marketing campaign.
